Gemini Season is here! This is the season of information. As we follow along with the story of the Zodiac, Gemini brings us to the final sign of Spring. Aries taught us that we were alive. Taurus taught us that we had a body and senses. Gemini teaches us that we have a mind and a voice. The three combined give us the human being at it's most basic level. And now that we realize we have a mind and a voice, our thoughts begin to twirl with wonder.

Gemini is the ultimate beginner's mindset. There is a certain child-like wonder and awe in the eye of a Gemini who has just had a thought. Their mind races and follows a million pathways as quick as a wink. There is never enough information for them. They are filled with excitement at every new idea and even more excited to share what they've learned with an eager audience.

Gemini is the sign of the storyteller and teacher. They are ruled by Mercury the messenger god. Think of Mercury as a super fast mailman. Constantly receiving information and then dispelling it out to the masses. Mercury does not judge the information. They simply pass it on. And so, Gemini is always open to shifting their perspective and changing their minds. This brings us to the crux of what so many people don't understand about this ever changing sign. They are the sign of the twins. Known this way because you never know which side of them you're going to get. People sometimes think of them as two-faced because of this. And for shadow Gemini, this is absolutely true. But most of the time, it's simply because most don't realize just how open Gemini is to receiving new information and thus changing their mind.

And this Gemini Season, we have an exciting transit coming up! Jupiter moves into Gemini on May 25th. Jupiter changes signs about once per year, so it'll remain in Gemini until June 2025. This gives us time to work more deeply with the sign and begin understanding how we can we can all expand our own curiosity and open-mindedness and most importantly, listen. Jupiter always asks us how we're underestimating ourselves. And so in the sign of Gemini, we are being asked to expand our ability to listen. Listening is Gemini's most valuable skill.

My hope during this next year is that collectively we all learn to listen more. To understand more. To get curious and question the things we don't understand. I think we could all use a bit of a beginner's mindset. So during this Gemini Season, let's prime our skills and get ready to expand our minds during the next year!
