One of my favorite things about the Zodiac is the beautiful arc of the signs as they grow and mature through each sign and season. To me, Cancer is perhaps one of the most profound of those changes. With Cancer, we begin to understand emotions. The final element of Water is finally here and just like ocean which sways us back and forth and can feel like the most lovely thing we've ever experienced, it can also feel terrifying. It is complex, misunderstood, powerful and vast. Cancer opens the waters up for us, but just like the crab, which it represents, it also gives us a safe home in our shells where we can hide when it gets too much.

During this Cancer Season, my hope for all of us is that we allow ourselves to feel whatever it is that we need to feel. That we go within and find what's ready for healing, give it a good cry and then ultimately heal. My hope is that we tap into our intuition, connect with our ancestors and feel empathy for those in need. My hope is simply that we allow the sign of Cancer to do it's work. Sometimes that means hiding out and not allowing anyone to see us, so give yourself permission if that's what's needed for you.

My fear is that instead of doing the work, we instead use this beautiful sign to hide behind our empathy. That we don't allow our true feelings to come out and instead put up walls because that's the safer thing to do. When it gets too much, that is what Cancer does. Bravery is needed to feel the kinds of emotions that Cancer brings to us. So let us all tap into that bravery so that we can learn what it truly means to heal.

Full Moon in Capricorn 🌕♑

And tonight, as a beautiful opening to the Season, we welcome a Full Moon in Capricorn at 6:09 pm PDT. This is actually the 1st of 2 Full Moons in Capricorn during Cancer Season. It feels like we should probably pay attention to it! During this Season that gives us time to feel our emotions, here comes Capricorn to remind that we also need to produce. We need to create something. Capricorn teaches us to just put our head down and work. So when these two signs come together and they are during this Full Moon, we must understand that you can't have one without the other. Use the energy of this Full Moon to think about what you'd like to manifest in your future. And then, as the Full Moon wanes, let go of whatever stands in your way!
